#sofarsyd – Sofar sounds is all about secret gigs all over the world at secret locations. You don’t even get to know the artist/s until the day of and the location, the day before. It’s also based off a random draw if you decide you’d like to go on a particular day, so there isn’t a guarantee that you’d get to selected. This time around, I was lucky enough to get the tickets. It was in Newtown and Lupa J, Andy Golledge, Leanne Tennant and With Fox were performing, each for about 30 minutes. CD’s were available to buy. BYO rugs and pillows (although there was definitely a lack of pillow bringing). Overall a good night. Found me an alter-hipster-ego – Monty. He is a barista at a super trendy cafe you would’ve never heard of in the inner west. Kaz on the other hand, works at Red Rooster since he dropped out of his uni degree. I’m sure more of their past will need to be developed – I present you Monty and Kaz and their adventure so far… (yes, that joke was done that night):
