#sofarsyd – Either I’m lucky, or I’m lucky – maybe it was because it was Chinese New Year as well! 3 out of 3 Sofar sounds so far… Oh thats lame. I hope it doesn’t stop. This time it was at the Rocks Brewing Company in Sydenham. It was a great location, except that I think alcohol seemed to have spoilt the normal ambience where its all about the music. This time around, it was more about people socialising and thus, very noisy and felt more like a normal bar and less appreciation for the artists. I hope it’ll improve! Manu Pozzi was from Argentina – brilliantly entertaining. Gazele was a soul act from Sydney, Betty & Oswald is a group I’ve wanted to see (or that I had come across their name and wanted to check them out), and they were pretty amazing. Definitely enjoyed their tempo changes. Flowertruck was an 80’s rock band? I say that like a question because it was definitely different. The lead singer was plucked out of the 80’s in style, looks and mannerisms. It was pretty great.
